Flooded Chennai Tamil Nadu – Help People Mutually

Hello my dear readers and friends,

Please read this article for heaven’s sake! A humble request…

This is no nonsense promotional blog post.

I’m Anoop, the author of the blog People and Hearts, who is from Chennai, India. You guys would have read or heard about Chennai and its dreaded floods in the media by now.

I’m a victim of this flood. I have witnessed and still witnessing the sufferings of people affected by the Floods in Chennai and Tamil Nadu.

Flooded Chennai and Tamil Nadu –

I’m writing on behalf of the people who are crying, craving and begging for food, shelter, clothes and blankets. The list of people includes pregnant women, infants, children, old people and many more. These people have few necessities. I will list it down.

  • Pregnant women – Thousands of pregnant women are stuck up in many houses who are unable to move out and are struggling for food. Only few have been able to be rescued by the Indian Air Force by helicopters and other NGO’s. You are now able to understand it better now.
  • Hungry children who have lost their school textbooks and clothes –  Yes, these children have lost their textbooks, clothes and all learning aids. They are made to wait and crave for food.
  • Crying elderly people – Why do they have to undergo all these cruelties.
  • Sorrowful mothers who are unable to feed milk to their children – This is really embarrassing and unfortunate.
  • People begging for food – These people who are begging for food today had cars and lived in a fully furnished AC apartment with luxury. Yes, they have lost their passports and credit cards too in the floods. They have only one pair of dress that they are wearing now. They left everything inside their home and walked onto the streets to get food for them as well as for their family. There are people who are waiting in the terrace of their homes expecting people will drop food packets to them.
  • People begging for clothes – You know how to hide your body and the value of a dress. These people need clothes to wear today because their clothes were lost in the floods. And trust me they are begging when rescuers are coming to help them.
  • People thanking NGO’s and rescue volunteers – The struggling people are considering the NGO’s and volunteers as the sons and daughters of the God. Yes, they are very happy and thankful to these helping benevolent hearts.

There are so many people out there in this world. The NGO’s and rescue team can’t reach out to all the people out there. But we can. If we help each other mutually with what we have, we can bring a great relief for the ailing wounds.

Yes we can make this happen. Please do your small help that can be a great relief for the needy ones.

Please try to help each other mutually.

I hope this article would have made you to think that you are a human being. Yes I believe that my words would do some magic inside you.

The voice of the dying soldiers…
The voice of the rolling tears…
The voice of hungry children…
The voice of traumatized victims…
The voice of aching people…
The voice of the dead…

The voice of falling trees…
The voice of the dying mother nature…

The voice of dried rivers…
The voice of melting icebergs…
The voice of the depleting ozone layer…

The voice of a relationship…
The voice of the people…
The voice of an orphan…
The voice of love…

The voice of the unseen…
The voice of the unheard…
The voice of the untouched…
The voice of the unexplored…
The voice of infinity…
The voice of mystery….
The voice of beauty…
The voice of appreciation…

Just like you, I’m here for a purpose. I’m just an ordinary human being. But…

But I’m one among you who can make a big difference.
I can bring about a change that you have never thought about.
I can open up new avenues that you were aspiring for.
I can make you believe in yourself beyond anything on this universe.
I can make you cry and smile in a few seconds.
I can invoke emotions that you were hiding inside your heart.
I can change the world.
I can make you a human being with emotions.
I can inspire you.

But how is that all possible?

Well, you have the answer now. You have read something now. Yes, these are my words. My words are the footprints that I’m creating as a writer to make all this possible.

I believe in my words that I create as they contain emotions in them. My words are the diverse emotions of millions of human beings. I’m writing these words for you, for me and for us. It’s for a collective growth and evolution.

To make a better world. To inspire the world. To make the world smile. To bring in a better change. Yes, I’m a writer and I love being a writer. I love writing for people. I love it when people in different corners of the world can feel the significance of words. That is the biggest satisfaction I get as a writer.

I’m pouring out my words through my fingers, as my words are my footprints for the world.

Solitude – An Artist’s Best Companion to Create Magic

There are some people who love to be in solitude. They wish that they could spend some quality time being alone.

They are called the Artists, who create magic with the rainbows through the ordinary grey shades of life in solitude.

We the ‘artists’ include writers, painters, musicians, singers and many more. We give life to the creations that we create with passion. We give our best shot when we are left in solitude. Creativity takes birth here, when we are ourselves in solitude.

The magic of our passions are read by you as the words that the writers create in solitude.

The magic of our passions are heard by you as the music that the musicians create in solitude.

The magic of our passions are seen by you as the paintings that the artists create in solitude.

Final Moments of Mystery

Final Moments of Mystery
Final Moments of Mystery

Every mystery has a conclusion and the ultimate revelation. The mystery surrounding this stranger is about to break out.

Finally he meets this mystery lady again after three months. But this was something unexpected. The long absence of the stranger made him to fancy that the lady has vanished. But to his surprise, the lady is standing near to him.

When he met her this time, there was a complete silence in his heart. He stood standstill observing the lady like before.

She appeared different from the last meeting, probably, a makeover of her looks. When he watched her silently with his head tilting towards her, there was a cautious glance from the lady. She noticed him like a cop on patrol. He felt the shiver in his body instantly.

The bus arrived to disturb the silent mind game that was taking place. The lady boarded the bus in no time. But he did not move from his place. His heart was pushing him to go after her and to board the same bus. He was in no hurry and decided that the time has not come for following her.

The lady disappeared as usual and he went about doing his routine work. Back at his home, he was thinking what has to be done next. The silence and the mystery surrounding the lady was bottling him up. He wants to bring an end to this mystery once and for all.

So the day has come, he arrives at the meeting place on time. The silence will take shape as words, as he is going to speak to her. The months of silence and mystery will be unfolded now…

Earning Success the Hard Way

Magic

I want to earn success the hard way. I want to go there, give my heart in whatever I’m doing. I want to give my best creation with utmost dedication.

I don’t want a shortcut to success. I want to go there, toil myself, learn more and do what I love.

I want to write more. I want to create magic in my writings. When people read my posts, they should witness magic and feel a satisfaction of reading something valuable. I want to be a good writer by the hard way. I want to improve day by day.

I’m not a son of a millionaire. I’m not a superman. But I’m a very ordinary person and I want to earn success by working my ass off.

I want to earn success the hard way,

I want to create magic in my writings,

I want to give my heart into my writings,

I want the magic in my writings to reach people,

I want to be a good writer through the hard way,

Writing this post from the bottom of my heart.

How I Became a Creative Writer?

Poetry
Poetry (Photo credit: V. H. Hammer)

I never thought that I will become a writer in my life. I never even thought about that. But there were some glimpses of my writing skills that I discovered in my college days. But one moment changed everything that I knew about myself.

I wrote my first poem when I was 11 years old about “Sun”. And that was the only poem I wrote in the next  eight years. After that I never wrote something like that until I fell in love.

I started to write poems based only on love. In my college days, I used to write leave letters, permission letters etc. for my classmates because they thought that I was good in writing. Despite studying Bachelor of Engineering, I found more affinity to English and writing. But one truth is that I never read books on literature, poems or novels. Yet still I loved writing.

Love triggered my writing skills. And my best poems were based on love.

I used to write many poems and give it to my love. She would read it and she used to smile. I loved doing that.

It was during this time that I started to create short poems, type them as SMS texts and send it to my friends as forward messages. Forward SMSes  were a craze with youngsters about a few years ago. I used to type some code words as an identification of the SMSes that I created. I used to receive those forward messages that I created back to my inbox itself. I still get few of those messages as SMSes even after so many years. It was a good feeling to see that people are liking my poems and creations.

One day, one of my short poem was read in a regional FM Radio channel as the best forward message of the day.

One fine evening, I was listening to the FM Channel, Radio City in 2006. The RJ read, “Here is the best forward message of the day“. And that was my poem that was being read live on air. I felt very happy to hear that. Fortunately, I was listening to the radio station. On that day, I understood that people have started to read and like my poems. It was on that day I decided that I will become a writer someday.

There was my English lecturer who used to encourage me to write more. Through the reference of my teacher and the Head of the Department of English, I got an offer to publish my poems as a book through a local publisher. I was asked to pay 25,000 INR for publishing it. At that time I thought I must not publish my poems as I didn’t have the maturity or mindset of a complete writer. The money was also a constraint. I felt bad for rejecting that offer. But now I feel that what I did was the right thing. I kept learning and wrote more to become a writer. Still I’m learning how to write better.

There was another friend who always supported and encouraged me to write more. That friend was the main inspirational force because of whom I’m a better writer now. I kept writing more and more. My dream was to have my own blogging website. Initially, several friends ridiculed me and never believed what I said. I said to them that one day I will have my own website for showcasing my poems, short stories etc.

Finally here I’m with my own website, People and Hearts http://peopleandhearts.com/.

My next dream is to publish my collection of poems as my first book. Then I plan to publish a book on short stories.

I thank my friends and my close ones for supporting me to write. I want your kind support in the future too. I’m learning day by day.

Please help me to grow by sharing my articles in Facebook, Twitter and other social media if you like it.
