Paper Boat Sailing with Butterflies

I envisioned a childish dream,
Paper boat wading through rivers,
Menacing breeze moving the paper boat forward,
Ripples portraying rainbows in front of the paper boat,
Butterflies flying on top of the rainbows,
Small fishes jumping through the dreamy rainbows,
Magic taking shape as the paper boat sailed with butterflies and rainbows…

She is a Raining Memory

She is a Raining Memory. Photo Credits: Anoop © People and Hearts

I saw her lying on the busy pathway,
Nobody noticed her beauty,
She was feeling cold and alone amidst the crowd,

I stopped myself for a moment,
She was lying there and looking at me,
I took her and held her lightly,

Capturing her smile through the digital eye,
She turned evergreen and nostalgic,
For the years to come as a raining memory…

Following and Capturing My Twin – Shadow

Following and Capturing My Twin – Shadow  – Photo Credits: Anoop © People and Hearts

    Slowing down my foot steps,
Positioning myself against a metallic rod,
I was following him, my twin – shadow,
I was watching him closely like never before,
I was going to capture him with my camera,
While he was blindly imitating me.

He, my twin – shadow, stood there in front of me,
Lights falling on me during the night made him darker,
I smiled so that I could make him smile for the photo,
Only then I knew, he, my twin – shadow, could never smile,
While he was blindly imitating me.

    I captured his unassuming posture,
Into the photo album of time,
He, my twin – shadow, wasn’t smiling,
Although, I stood there smiling at my twin – shadow,
While he was blindly imitating me.

The Doped and Drunken Wind

Reblogging for NaPoWriMo

I resemble the doped wind,
Clueless about my direction,
I waver like the doped wind,
Wobbling my thoughts randomly.

I laugh madly like the drunken wind,
Visualizing the dual dazed worlds,
I dance like the drunken wind,
With my own foolish dance moves.

I blink my eyes like the doped wind,
Looking at the full moon in awe,
I open my lips shakily like the drunken wind,
Talking to the alluring full moon unknowingly.

Into the World of Positivity

The twilight embarks the journey into the world of positivity,
Setting his eyes on the majestic blue moon of success,
Cruised the solitary young man on his sailboat.
Battling and evading the devastating waves,
Reached the battered man on the shore of the dreamland.

Floating on the glass of reality and fairy tales,
Glittered the magical island of positivity.
Welcomed by a flock of singing Bluebirds,
The unsung hero looked at the island in wonder.

Looking at the blue skies,
The man witnessed a rare spectacle.
Came the rain through the mystic rainbow,
Kissing the forehead of the blue moon,
Into the magical world of positivity.

Aspiring to achieve his dream,
Holding the sands from the island of positivity,
Looking into the eyes of the reality,
The man of steel begins his struggle for success.

The First Sign of Arrival

Struck the lightning to break the silence,
To signal the arrival.
With the lightning came the rain,
To wake me up.

Embracing a secret message,
Fell the rain on me.
Seeing this, whispered the mild breeze in my ears.
I knew this secret of arrival even before the rain knew.

Danced the rain heavily,
To interrupt the conversation.
Splashed the raindrops on my face,
To make me listen to its words.
Only I know about the mystery person who sent the message.

Amazed at the things happening,
Enquired I about the mystery person and the message.
Struck the lightning again,
To create a silence.

Touching my chin said the lightning,
Let that be a mystery.
With this, disappeared the lightning.
Smiled the breeze by parting its way.
Danced the rain in the dark.
Stood I in wonder about the first sign of arrival.

(To be continued…)

Strong Winds Make me Poetic Again…

The winds, strong enough to make me poetic again,
The impact is clearly evident, as the winds kiss the trees with strong passion.
The flying trees make me dream again,
The visual of the most dazzling girl on earth,
Having her hair cut loose in the direction of the moving winds.

The winds, strong enough to make me poetic again,
The chemistry is clearly evident, as the raindrops kiss her lips,
The visual makes me to realize,
The love is near and I’m in love again…

If I Could Erase my Memories

Lonely tree at ocean edge

I wish to be a weathered rock
That withstood the test of time and nature.
If I could erase my memories…

I wish to be a homeless kid,
Who didn’t know the meaning of an orphan.
If I could erase my memories…

I wish to be a migratory bird
That didn’t know the existence of its nest.
If I could erase my memories…

I wish to be an old tree
That didn’t know its age.
If I could erase my memories…

I wish to be a prisoner,
Who didn’t know his crime.
If I could erase my memories…

I wish to be an artificial satellite
That lost track of its orbit.
If I could erase my memories…

When I stopped and When I started…

When I stopped for one moment,
When I stopped listening to the sounds of the busy city,
When I stopped picking up calls and messages,
When I stopped running behind the imaginary world,
Then I knew that I hit the giant wall.

When I started to gain my consciousness back,
When I started to gain my breath back,
When I started to open my eyes completely,
When I started to hear my inner voice clearly,
When I started to feel and touch my heart slowly,
When I started to look at skies in the dark,
Then I knew that I’m alone.

When I started to accept the reality,
When I started to understand the reality,
When I started to appreciate the beauty of life,
When I started to look at the skies again in the dark and smile,

Then I knew that I was living.

When Dreams Fly Like Fire…

When dreams fly like fire,
Don’t blow it off just like that,
Instead allow it to fly,
Because dreams are meant to touch undefined boundaries,
Sparking creativity through the path of mind.
When you begin to dream like fire,
Keep dreaming through those undefined boundaries,
And that’s where you meet your true self and passions,
In the land of creativity and fun.
Keep dreaming…
Keep dreaming…

It Kills You Like Hell…

When you have the words to say,
When you have the time to say those words,
When you have the heart to say those words,
When you give your complete self into those words,
When you find the person you love in those words,
But it kills you like hell,
When you don’t have the person you love to hear those words…
It kills you like hell…
